A special convention of The American Legion in Colorado has been set for January 23-25 at the Hilton Hotel in Fort Collins. This convention is for the purpose of considering a Constitution and Bylaws for The American Legion in Colorado. If the new governing documents are approved, officers will be elected to take office when the Department Charter is restored. Both steps are necessary for the reorganization committee to recommend to the National Executive Committee that the charter be restored. The form necessary for registration and room reservation follows. Your registration includes breakfast, lunch and dinner for January 24 and 25.

We anticipate that motions and elections will be decided by paper ballot. Only members of The American Legion in Colorado posts that are registered for the convention will be eligible to receive a ballot. As you will see on the registration form, it will be necessary to show your current membership card to receive your registration credentials so make sure you carry your card.
