| The Junior Shooting Sports Program, aka Young Guns, include Basic Rifle Safety and Marksmanship courses offered by The American Legion and Sons of The American Legion, Squadron 209. | NRA-Accredited members of The American Legion and the Sons of The American Legion are sponsors and instructors for the Junior Shooting Sports (Young Guns) Program. The program is held on a semester basis, and class sizes are limited. Marksmanship classes are held on Wednesday evenings and Basic classes are held on Thursday evenings at The American Legion, Neal Thomas Jr. Centennial Post 209, 3613 Jeannine Drive, Colorado Springs.
